Community Guidelines — cherrycam.live

cherrycam.live is a non-explicit 1-on-1 cam chat platform. These rules describe what is allowed on camera, how we enforce them, and what happens when someone breaks them.

Breaking these rules can end a conversation, suspend an account, or remove it permanently. The most serious categories — anything involving minors or coercion — carry no warning step.

1. What These Rules Cover

Everything here applies to what happens during a cam chat: your video feed, your audio, anything you type in chat, and anything visible behind you. There are no public posts, no albums, and no profile feed on cherrycam.live, so these rules are about live conduct rather than uploaded content.

They apply to every user in every country, whatever the local law permits. Where local law is stricter than these guidelines, local law wins.

2. The Core Rules

Five rules cover the overwhelming majority of enforcement here.

Keep It Non-Explicit

No nudity, sexual acts, or sexually suggestive behaviour on camera. If you would not do it in front of a stranger on a train, do not do it here.

Treat the Other Person as a Person

No harassment, slurs, threats, or abuse aimed at someone for their appearance, accent, country, gender, or beliefs. Disagreeing is fine. Demeaning someone is not.

Be Who You Appear to Be

No pre-recorded video, looped clips, virtual camera feeds, or bots presented as a live person. If there is a camera feed, there should be a person behind it right now.

What Happens Here Stays Here

Do not record, screenshot, or redistribute another person’s camera feed or anything they told you. They agreed to talk to you, not to an audience.

No Selling, No Scamming

No advertising, payment requests, crypto pitches, links to external sites, or attempts to move someone onto another platform for money. This includes soliciting for other cam services.

3. Not Allowed on Camera

This platform is non-explicit. That is not a soft preference we relax when traffic is slow, and it is the single most common reason accounts are removed here. The following will end your session and put your account under review:

  • Nudity, partial nudity, sexual acts, or sexually suggestive posing and gestures.
  • Anyone under 18 appearing on camera, whether as the user or as a person nearby.
  • Violence, self-harm, weapons displayed as a threat, or graphic and disturbing imagery.
  • Harassment, hate speech, slurs, threats, or coordinated targeting of another user.
  • Recording, screenshotting, or streaming another user’s feed to a third party.
  • Impersonating another person, a public figure, or a member of our staff.
  • Payment requests, advertising, external links, or promotion of other services.
  • Illegal activity of any kind, including the sale of controlled substances.

Being alone in your own home does not make explicit behaviour acceptable on this platform. The other person did not choose to see it, and they are the reason the rule exists.

4. Minors

cherrycam.live is for adults aged 18 and over. Accounts that appear to belong to someone under 18 are removed as soon as we see them, without waiting for a report and without a warning step.

Any attempt to solicit, groom, or obtain sexual content from a minor results in immediate permanent removal and is reported to the relevant authorities. There is no appeal path for this category. If you believe you have encountered a minor on the platform, end the conversation and report it rather than engaging further.

5. Reporting

Every cam chat has a report button that takes one tap and does not require you to stay in the conversation. Reporting is anonymous: the person you report is never told who reported them.

Reports are read by a person. We do not close them automatically on a keyword match, and we do not require a certain number of reports before acting — one credible report about explicit content or a suspected minor is enough. If a report needs follow-up you can reach us at [email protected].

6. What Happens When Rules Are Broken

Consequences scale with what happened, not with how many times it has happened.

Session Ended

The conversation is disconnected immediately. Used for a first, lower-severity issue where the intent looks careless rather than deliberate.

Temporary Suspension

Matching is disabled for a set period. Used for repeat issues, or a first offence serious enough that a disconnect is not a proportionate answer.

Permanent Removal

The account is removed and cannot be restored. Used for explicit content, harassment campaigns, recording other users, and fraud.

Removal and Referral

Permanent removal plus a report to the relevant authorities. Reserved for anything involving minors, credible threats of violence, or coercion.

Repeated lower-severity violations escalate. Creating a new account to get around a removal is itself a violation and results in the new account being removed as well.

7. Appeals and Questions

If you believe a restriction on your account was a mistake, write to support with the approximate date and time of the session in question. We will tell you which rule was applied and reverse the decision if the review was wrong. Appeals are not available for the minors category described in section 4.

These guidelines sit alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Where they appear to conflict, the Terms of Service governs.
