Child Safety

One rule with no exceptions: cherrycam.live is for adults. Here is what to do if you think a minor is on the site, whether you are a user or a parent, and what we do about it.

The line

cherrycam.live is only for people aged 18 and over. Nobody under 18 may use it or appear on a user's camera. Any attempt to contact a minor sexually, obtain images of a minor, or groom a minor is forbidden without exception.

If you are using cherrycam.live

  • If the person on screen looks like they could be under 18, end the conversation. Do not keep talking to find out.
  • Report them with the report tool in the app, then block them.
  • Do not save, screenshot or forward anything from that call, even to "prove" it. Copying images of a minor can itself be a crime.
  • If you need to tell us more than the report tool allows, write to [email protected] with the rough date and time.

If you are a parent or guardian

If you believe your child has used cherrycam.live or has given us their details, email [email protected]. Tell us what you know: the email address or profile name they may have used, the device, and roughly when. You do not need to send us any images.

Browsers and phones have parental controls that can block sites by category or by address, which is the most reliable way to keep a child off sites like this one.

What we do

  • We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. When we learn we have, we delete it as soon as we can.
  • Accounts that appear to belong to a minor are closed.
  • Accounts that target minors are closed permanently, and making a new account to return is also a breach.
  • We keep the records needed to cooperate with lawful requests from the authorities.

The rest of our rules are on the community guidelines page, and how we handle information is in the privacy policy.
