Cookies and browser storage
Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. Browser storage (local storage, and the files a service worker caches) does a similar job. cherrycam.live uses both, for three things.
Set by cherrycam.live
- Essential
- Keep you signed in, hold your guest or member session, protect against abuse, and let calls and payments work. Without these the site does not function.
- Functional
- Remember choices such as display settings, so you do not have to set them again on every visit.
Set by Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages and features are used. It sets its own cookies (their names start with "_ga") when you load the site. We look at the totals and trends, not at individual visitors.
You can stop it by blocking third-party or analytics cookies in your browser, or with Google's Analytics opt-out add-on. The site works the same either way.
Clearing and blocking
Every major browser lets you see, delete and block cookies and site data, usually under Settings, then Privacy or Site settings. Clearing cherrycam.live's data signs you out and resets your preferences. Blocking essential cookies will stop sign-in and calls from working.
How we handle the information itself is in the privacy policy.
